Alicia Disantis is a multidisciplinary creative leader with over 15 years’ experience developing strategies for complex brands that position them as unquestionable leaders. As the Owner and Chief Brand Strategist of 38th & Kip Studio, she specializes in brand strategy and design for a variety of industries. With one foot in data, and the other in fine art, Alicia has a unique method for developing brands that stand out from the pack. Her expertise lies in crafting visual experiences that humanize and detangle complicated brands.

Alicia was formally trained as a fine artist, specializing in illustration and printmaking, and has developed a passion for branding and human psychology over the past decade. She is equally as comfortable conducting full-scale brand strategies and marketing research efforts as she is creating a beautiful logo.

In addition, Alicia has a love for education and content creation. She is a course curriculum creator and professor of Marketing Research, PR Communications, and Media for Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, VA. She also co-hosts an international podcast on branding and business, called Branding and the Beast.

Alicia was the youngest board member to serve on the Board of Directors at Red Rocks Community College in Denver, CO and has been involved in supporting the arts in public schools and community colleges across the Denver Metro Region. Since moving to Virginia, she’s been active in the Roanoke business communities and outdoorsy Appalachian events, like manning the rock climbing wall and pouring beers at the Star City Marathon.

Alicia has a BA in Fine Art from University of Toledo, OH and an MA in Arts Management with a concentration in Branding from Columbia College Chicago.
