Several years ago, Sara Roccisano left her 20+ year, tenured career in investment banking and renewable energy finance across Wall Street and Corporate America to undergo a profound personal transformation.
Today she is a world-traveling author, international motivational speaker, a wayshower, and the founder of Embolden Adventures, offering empowerment insights and travel adventures that guide the unsatisfied who want to change their lives today. Her life’s adventures are as expansive and colorful as the cultures she’s encountered across the world.
Sara aims to inspire personal, professional, and spiritual development through these extraordinary times of change and transformation. Driven by adventure and curiosity, Sara brings a unique mix of optimism, effective communication, and a strong sense of connectedness, enabling her to wonderfully motivate individuals and groups. Sara’s philosophy is fueled by living life courageously, being emboldened through unique experiences intended to free the confines of the mind and the unsatisfying limitations in the everyday.
From the depths of the oceans to heights of the mountains, to the ancient megalithic and everywhere else in between, Sara has explored over 43 countries and more than half of the United States. What makes Sara’s story truly remarkable is her deep, two-decade spiritual awakening and quest for self-discovery achieved by working with wisdom keepers, connecting with the natural world, and answering the call for adventure.
Not only has Sara collected passport stamps from her adventures, but she has powerful stories to share that broaden horizons and interconnect us all. Whether Sara is speaking on stage, writing, or showing a way for others, her words carry resonance of acquired wisdom and her genuine enthusiasm for exploration, both throughout the world and within oneself.
Sara Roccisano’s book, Stone Temple Passport: Awake and Radiate with Mama Ayahuasca will be released in Fall 2026. This true-story travel adventure memoir is part of her Embolden Adventures Transformational series on its way toward publication. Sara obtained her Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering at Cornell University, College of Engineering and her Master of Business Administration at New York University, Stern School of Business.
